Frank the Hero!

Read on to find out how Frank helped save Lulu's life - a story of brotherly love in a big way :)

Frank is an 8yr old hand raised feral that I bottle fed after he was found in a dumpster. He was very tiny and dehydrated but Frank and his brother

Louis (Louis found a great home as a baby cat) pulled through well. Until they got ringworm and lost all their fur. Doc wanted to put them to sleep. Yeah that was gonna happen! They had a daily bath and two rounds of oral meds and both again pulled through.

Frank is the strong silent type, he never meows or purrs (well rarely and so softly them you can only feel it rather than hear it). Last weekend I was on FDMB and surfing around, all was quiet. Then Frank let out the most horrifically loud yowl at the garage door. Startled I jumped up thinking he was about to vomit and opened the door. (Barf out there so Mommy doesn't have to clean it up).

To my horror Lulu my 11-year old poodle was almost lifeless hanging from a ladder by her collar! I rushed out and managed to free her. She was exhausted but breathing OK and licked me . Lulu, toughy that she is shook it off, had a big drink of water and tried to take a nap.

I hugged and kissed Frank, what a hero. How did he know? Who cares? He knew and saved Lulu's life.  Frank hates hugs and kisses and didn't speak to me the rest of the day!

Lulu was at the Vet on Monday and suffered only a sore neck and a swollen eye and is fine now.

Thank God for Frank!
