Ode to Korbel

To a cat of three colors
Snow white and Brandy red on a canvas of black.
But don’t turn your back
For she will attack.
She will hiss and glare and snear
At strangers who dare to come near.
But for the ones that she loves
She’s as gentle as a dove.

For me its head buts and whisker kisses
For the dog she spits and hisses.
Chin scratches at night
And she snuggles in tight.
She’s my little “bellybutton”
My little “piggy gluttun”.
