Soap Gift Sets - they're not just for IMOM's Day anymore!
Folks have asked us to make our hand-crafted soap sets available at times other than IMOM's Day, so I consulted with Gorb via a ouji board and he said 'do it already !'. So here we are, offering hand-crafted soap sets in time for the holidays...and of course Gorb made sure to spell out that $s should go to an animal organization close to his heart...and so we're doing that too.

Each package is $25
$10 will go to The Morris Animal Foundation
$5 will go to shipping
$10 will go to material costs
any $s saved on shipping or materials at the end will also get lumped into the Morris Foundation $s

Please note: all products are animal-friendly, only Gorb has ever been tested LOL! Soaps may be aloe vera/glycerin, avocado/cucumber, or goat's milk. All are colored with natural micas and scented with food-grade oil blends.

The History of IMOM's Day and the launch of Merry Morris
Gorb came up with "Make Mom's Day IMOM's Day" back in 2003 and in just under a month raised $300 for the Diabetic Pets Fund. He repeated the fundraiser in 2004 and scored $400 for IMOM's Chronic Renal Failure Fund. This time around we're repeating the yummy hand-made soaps and great packaging and raising $s for The Morris Animal Foundation.
Gorb met a very special doctor met Gorb during his cancer diagnosis. Though Gorb met Dr. Spielman only once, he put her under his spell, as he did most folks he met during his time on earth. When Gorb passed on Dr. Spielman made a donation in his memory to The Morris Animal Foundation so we decided we wanted to help them when we got a chance.
You might be thinking, I don't know about this group...turns out you probably do, you just don't realize it ;)
The Morris Animal Foundation funded Dr. Grieco and the Animal Medical Center's research on sugarcats and the 'catkins' diet.
The Morris Animal Foundation funded Dr. Dian Fossey's Mountain Gorilla Veterinary Project.
The Morris Animal Foundation played a role in the development of vaccines for feline leukemia and the parvo virus in dogs.
The Morris Animal Foundation funds human animal health studies to advance veterinary medicine and thats something Gorb wanted to help.
