This area of Gorb's site will be dedicated your stories of rebound. We hope that by sharing our own experiences with rebound folks new to feline diabetes and maybe even some vets will gain a better understanding of this confusing yet very dangerous phenomenon.

Rebound can be very dangerous - think of the the body as bouncing around sugar-wise to protect itself from hypoglycemia. The body can only bounce so many times before the "elastic" gives/breaks and you could be facing a catastrophic hypo incident. Please take somogyi seriously - even if your vet doesn't think it exists - as with everything, be proactive. Prevention is a lot more fun than treatment !
