Side-by-side Strip Comparisons

Folks that use the Bayer Elite models are always wondering how the Elite strips compare to the less expensive Excel strips.  Well Laura and Murray tried both out side by side (did readings from the same drop of blood) and were kind enough to share their findings with us!

As you can see the strips are very close in readings, with most being within 1-3% of each other.  There are some larger caps, with +5 readings at 7% but we are talking about sugarcats after all :)  So it seems the Excel G strips are a viable option for accurate readings, however most folks do complain that they sip slower and are tough to use with fidgety sugarcats.
